At the world leading exhibition of metal processing the EMO 2007 in Hannover the presentation of Profiroll Technologies GmbH in hall 2 was focused on spline rolling technology. The increase rate of visitors on the Profiroll booth was about 15% regarding the EMO 2005.
On an area of 154 sqm Profiroll exposed 4 spline rolling machines, which couldn't be more different to each other
- highlight was our ROLLEX L HP a cnc spline rolling machine with circular dies and modern eletro-mechanical drives - the demonstration part had 5 splines that were rolled during one cycle without changing of dies
- the incremental rolling machine PR 320 INC is a innovation in this sector of the market. Due to the moveable axis a very flexible usage is possible
- shorter manufacturing times are essentiel in back taper rolling of shifter sleeves for gears; therefor we presented the PRI 120 CNC/AC with her new machine concept that provides higher flexibility and shorter cycle times
- the ROLLIN fulfills final remaining requirements of manufacturers; its a ring rolling machine especially developed for coldforming of internal profiles in hollow parts
So innovative coldforming processes and the flexible machine technique were the main topics presented on the EMO 2007. Despite the lack of ring and thread rolling technology as well as our die technology these main segments were also discussed with our visitors and innovations presented in personal conversations.
The high rate of former guests from India, USA and Russia was also noticeable.
Especially customers from Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine focus more and more on Profiroll products for spline rolling. (Bad Düben, 23rd of September 2007)
